BELOK
Fabege is a member of BELOK, a partnership between the Energy authority and Sweden’s largest property owners. The group’s goal is to speed up the market introduction of energy-efficient systems and products.
Stockholm climate pact
As part of its environmental work, Fabege also participates in the Stockholm Climate Pact. The Climate pact is an initiative started by the City of Stockholm and represents a unique partnership between the city and local businesses. The aim is to offer an arena in which businesses can present good examples and new exciting solutions to reduce the impact on the climate.
Sweden Green Building Council
Since 2010, Fabege is a member of the Sweden Green Building Council. Sweden Green Building Council is a nonprofit organization that seeks to develop and influence environmental and sustainability initiatives in the industry. Founded in 2009, the council is owned by its members, and is open to all companies and organizations within the Swedish construction and property sector.
Sweden Green Building Council has created a common set of values from which its members can jointly work towards a more rapid development through joint certification systems, focusing on Swedish needs and values.
Members are expected to contribute to proactively develop the public interest in sustainable planning, design, construction and management in order to influence decision-makers so that sustainable buildings are rewarded and will contribute to networking and partnership.
