Picture on Fabege's project property Apotekaren

A greener city block

Fabege is to develop the Apotekaren block at Norrmalm to create the most attractive office premises in the city.

The property comprises several different building sections, of which the courtyard building is the oldest. The building has been used as a TV studio in recent years, but it will now be converted into offices and showrooms with ceiling heights that support grand visions, on behalf of our tenant, Björn Borg.

The Apotekaren block will undergo total interior refurbishment with new structural sections, installations and flooring. A light and spacious entrance and an open floor plan, with an abundance of natural lighting throughout, are only parts of the changes that will be implemented. About 16,000 square metres of space will be adapted for various operations and tenants, and the premises will suit every purpose from efficiently designed offices and perfectly exposed shops to spacious exhibition areas. The premises are located in a vibrant block with many restaurants, cafés and shops filled with visitors, such as pram-pushing mothers and fathers.

A greener office

In this project, environment-friendly material will be used throughout the property. Energy and water consumption will also be minimised through modern, energy-efficient technology. The objective is to surpass the GreenBuilding energy criteria.
